About the Role
We are looking for talented software engineers who are passionate about building products that customers love to use. You’ll build a state-of-the-art time series data platform, RevDB, that powers the best-in-class enterprise product suite that’s loved by our customers. This is a fully remote opportunity and can be worked from any location in the United States.
Responsibilities
Develop and Enhance RevDB: Contribute to the development of RevDB, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance. Work on features that handle massive datasets, improve data ingestion pipelines, and enhance data analysis capabilities
Solve Complex Challenges: Tackle some of the most challenging problems in data management, such as time-series database management, data normalization, and real-time data processing
Collaborate on Cross-functional Projects: Work closely with product managers, data scientists, and other engineers to deliver features that meet the strategic needs of our customers
Advocate for Best Practices: Champion engineering best practices, contribute to internal knowledge sharing, and mentor junior engineers
Consistently deliver software on-time, proactively identify risks, effectively adjust and communicate plans to achieve the team's objectives
Qualifications
5+ years of Java programming experience, with a strong background in data-intensive applications
Strong foundation in relational databases (ideally Postgres) and experience with large-scale data processing systems
Familiarity with cloud services (ideally AWS) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Collaborative spirit and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members
Industry experience in deploying best practices with scalable design patterns

Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to specific work location, skill set, depth of experience, education, and certifications.
The salary range for this position is $146,300 to $219,400. The compensation package for this position also includes stock options and company-paid benefits, including well-being and professional development stipends.
